The story begins with Ben, who left his rural hometown to study tourism in Ho Chi Minh City. Fascinated by the city’s history, culture, and cuisine, he spent over ten years guiding travelers and uncovering hidden gems. Since then, he’s had the joy of welcoming travelers from all over the world, sharing Vietnam’s culture, food, and hidden gems.
In 2019, he founded the SAIGON TASTE Tours company, a licensed international tour operator in Vietnam, with a dream: to share authentic Vietnamese experiences guided by passionate local experts. Today, Saigon Taste Tours is powered by a team of knowledgeable guides. Together, they’ve built more than tours; they’ve built connections, welcoming guests as friends and opening doors to real Vietnam.
What does the name SAIGON TASTE Tours mean?
- Saigon: Refers to Ho Chi Minh City, still affectionately called Saigon by locals and travelers. It evokes energy, culture, and personality, vibrant streets, local life, and authentic experiences.
- Taste: The essence or experience of the city to “get a taste” of real local life, history, culture, and people. Therefore, “Taste” means more than food — it’s about giving guests a true feel of Saigon through all senses.
- Tours: Represent our guided experiences, professional, safe, and personal journeys. It tells guests that they’ll explore with local guides who share stories, culture, and hidden gems.
