Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City – Cai Be – Can Tho (L)
07:30: Begin your adventure with a hotel pick-up in Ho Chi Minh City, then head towards Cai Be. Upon arrival, board a boat for a scenic ride along the Tien River, exploring the lush orchard gardens that make the region known as the “fruit basket” of the Lower Mekong Delta.
Wander through picturesque villages, discovering ancient homes and experiencing the unique indigenous culture of the area. Visit a local family business producing traditional coconut fudge and crispy rice popcorn. Taste fresh, tropical fruits, enjoy live Southern Vietnamese folk music, and paddle through tranquil canals of the Upper Mekong Delta.
Lunch will be served in a peaceful local garden, where you’ll have the opportunity to prepare and savor delicious Vietnamese specialties, engaging with the local community. Afterward, cycle through the orchards, interact with the friendly islanders, and visit the historic Ba Kiet’s ancient house.
Return by boat to Cai Be, then continue your journey to Can Tho City, where you’ll check in for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Can Tho – Cai Rang Floating Market – Tra Su Forest – Chau Doc (B/L/D)
06:00: Start the day with breakfast at the hotel, followed by a relaxing boat ride to explore the scenic tributaries of the Hau River. Visit the lively Cai Rang Floating Market, where you can witness the bustling activity of local traders selling fresh produce from their boats.
Next, embark on a walking tour of a local noodle factory, followed by a visit to the Munir Ansay Pagoda, a stunning Khmer temple known for its unique architectural beauty.
Continue your journey by boat to Con Son, a charming tourist area where you can explore a fruit plantation and taste seasonal fruits. Afterward, enjoy a delicious lunch.
In the afternoon, head to Chau Doc, where you’ll visit the Tra Su Forest, a magical mangrove forest in An Giang, renowned for its diverse wildlife and serene beauty. Take a peaceful rowing boat journey through the lush greenery, soaking in the spectacular scenery.
Explore the Ba Chua Xu Temple, a popular pilgrimage site, before checking in to your hotel and relaxing. End your day with a delightful dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3: Chau Doc – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
06:00: After breakfast, check out from your hotel and visit the vibrant floating village, followed by a trip to the Cham Village, where you can learn about the rich cultural heritage of the Cham people in the Mekong Delta.
For those heading to Phnom Penh, the tour will conclude at the boat meeting point.
Next, immerse yourself in the lively Chau Doc Market, a vibrant hub of local life. Browse the fresh produce, handcrafted goods, and unique Cambodian imports while savoring the mouthwatering aromas of local delicacies.
Continue your journey with a visit to Hang Temple, hidden within Sam Mountain. Ascend the mountain path, surrounded by lush greenery, and discover the tranquil sanctuary within the cave, complete with intricate Buddhist sculptures.
Pay your respects at the revered Ba Chua Xu Temple, offering prayers for good fortune before your departure.
