Full Description
The Golden Water Puppet Show is a captivating traditional performance that brings Vietnamese folklore and rural life to the stage, on water. Originating from the rice paddies of Northern Vietnam over 1,000 years ago, this rare art form combines puppetry, music, and storytelling magically.
Each show features a series of short scenes portraying village life, legends, and mythical creatures. From farmers working in the fields to heroic dragons and ancient tales, the puppets glide across the water, telling vibrant stories with charm and humor. The iconic character Chú Tễu acts as the witty narrator, guiding the audience through each scene.
