HaNoi Family Quest: A Fun Half Day Adventure for Family

Premium Small Group Tour

❖ Start the day with a local breakfast – Bánh cuốn: Enjoy freshly made bánh cuốn, delicate rice rolls filled with minced pork and mushrooms. Light yet flavorful, this classic dish is a Hanoi breakfast favorite, best savored just like the locals do.

❖ Wooden stamp artisan visit: Meet a skilled craftsman who hand-carves traditional wooden stamps, preserving an art passed down for generations. Watch the intricate process and take home a personalized stamp, uniquely designed for you.

❖ The traditional house: Step into a beautifully preserved 100-year-old home for a glimpse of Hanoi’s past. With its traditional architecture and cozy layout, this house reflects the daily life and rich heritage of local families.

❖ Try Bánh gối – A classic Hanoi snack: We’ll stop by one of our favorite local shops for a bánh gối – crispy pillow dumpling. Watch as the golden pastries are freshly fried right in front of you, filling the air with an irresistible aroma.

❖ Quan De Temple: Visit the Quan De Temple, dedicated to Guan Yu, the god of loyalty and righteousness. This serene stop offers a peaceful moment, with incense-filled air and intricate altars, adding a spiritual layer to your day.

❖ Snack (Bánh rán) – A sweet break: It’s time for a tasty treat! We’ll stop to sample bánh rán, a Vietnamese donut. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, each bite of this golden-fried delight gives a sweet contrast to the morning’s savory market flavors, a perfect way to recharge before our next destinations.

❖ O Quan Chuong: Pass through Quan Chuong Gate, one of the last remaining gates of the old Thang Long Citadel. Learn about its historical significance and admire its enduring architecture, a testament to Hanoi’s resilience and heritage.

❖ Cyclo ride – Savor the streets of Hanoi: After lunch, we’ll hop on a cyclo for a 15-minute ride through the Old Quarter. These iconic three-wheeled taxis give you a taste of Hanoi’s past while you soak in the vibrant sights, sounds, and smells of the city. It’s perfect for a relaxing break!

❖ Coffee & painting – Art and connection: Round out the day by enjoying a cup of traditional Vietnamese coffee, while also participating in a fun, creative activity – decorating a chuồn chuồn tre (a bamboo dragonfly). This is where we’ll experience the value of traditional crafts, preserving memories and culture through art.
