8:00 AM – You’ll begin the day by boarding a speedboat from Ho Chi Minh City and cruising toward the Mekong Delta. Along the way, you’ll witness Vietnam’s striking contrasts — from modern skyscrapers and busy commercial zones to peaceful riverside villages and lush greenery. While relaxing on board, enjoy light pastries, fresh tropical fruits, and mineral water as you take in the tranquil scenery of the river, dotted with local boats, traditional houses, and vibrant vegetation. Your local guide will share fascinating stories about riverside life, local livelihoods, and the surrounding natural environment.

8:30 AM – You’ll stop at a lively riverside market filled with seasonal fruits, vegetables, spices, seafood, and local specialties. Take time to stroll through the market, observe daily trading activities, and soak up the authentic atmosphere of life along the river before continuing your journey deeper into the Mekong Delta.

9:30 AM – Arriving at a local pier, you’ll board a traditional sampan boat and gently cruise along a narrow, scenic canal lined with freshwater mangroves and water coconut palms. This peaceful ride offers a perfect moment to slow down, unwind, and enjoy the sights and sounds of this charming water region.

10:00 AM – Next, hop on a bicycle for a relaxed ride along a quiet countryside trail. You’ll explore a charming local village, passing rustic houses, small bridges, winding canals, lush gardens, colorful flowers, shrimp farms, and vast rice paddies. This cycling experience gives you a close-up look at daily life in the Mekong Delta and a chance to experience the warm hospitality of the locals.

During the ride, you’ll stop to visit a local Cao Dai temple, where you’ll discover its unique and colorful architecture and learn about one of Vietnam’s most fascinating and spiritual religions.

11:00 AM – You’ll continue cycling to visit a three-generation family who still produces traditional rice wine. Here, you’ll learn about the brewing process, sample the rice wine, and enjoy meaningful interactions with the family, gaining insight into their daily routines and cultural traditions.

11:30 AM – You’ll say goodbye to the Mekong Delta and board the speedboat once again, heading to a picturesque riverside restaurant in a local village to enjoy a delicious traditional Vietnamese lunch — the perfect ending to a relaxing and immersive countryside escape.

1:30 PM, embark on a speedboat onward to Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Dinh).

Upon arrival, this is what you’ll do:

• Documentary Film and Tunnel Diagram: Watching a documentary film about the Vietnam War provides context and insight into the historical significance of the Cu Chi Tunnels. Following this, viewing diagrams of the tunnels’ construction and layout, including various sections like kitchens, bedrooms, storage areas, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers, helps visitors understand the complexity and functionality of the tunnel network.
• Booby Traps and Tunnel Exploration: Exploring booby traps and trapdoors adds an element of adventure to the tour. The highlight of the trip, crawling and walking through the cramped and narrow passageways of the tunnels, offers a firsthand experience of the conditions faced by soldiers during the war. Reconstructed chambers provide a glimpse into life within the tunnels during wartime.
• Handmade Weapons and Traps: Learning about handmade weapons and traps used by local guerrillas during the Vietnam War offers insight into the resourcefulness and ingenuity of the Vietnamese fighters. Understanding how everyday items were repurposed for survival and combat enhances visitors’ appreciation for the resilience of the Vietnamese people during the conflict.

4:45 PM – Depart Cu Chi by Speedboat

6:00 PM, Arrive back at the pier. 

1. If you choose the group tour. The premium small group with a maximum capacity of our speedboat is 15 people in order to ensure the safety and comfort for guests. We require a minimum of 6 adults to operate a group tour. If you’re interested but have fewer than 6 adults, we’d be happy to check availability for your preferred date. If the group doesn’t meet the minimum, we can place you on a waiting list and notify you as soon as the minimum number is reached. Alternatively, you may choose to book a private tour at a higher rate, which offers a more personalized and flexible experience tailored to your preferences.

2. Pickup & drop-off at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City are included, and transfer to the Bach Dang Pier. 

3. Tour duration: Half-day (10hours), departure around 7:45 AM 

4. What to bring: Comfortable walking shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. 

5. Fitness level: Easy to moderate – includes walking, and optional activities.

📌 Cancellation Policy

You may cancel up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure are non-refundable, and changes within that time frame cannot be accepted. In the event of extreme weather conditions, the tour may be rescheduled or canceled, and a full refund will be offered.

👨‍👩‍👧 Children Policy

1. Children aged 3 and under: Free of charge. Parents are responsible for their care, meals, and any applicable entrance fees. Only 1 child under 3 per 2 accompanying adults is allowed. A second child (and onwards) will be charged 50% of the tour price.

2. Children aged 4–8 years old: Charged 75% of the adult tour price. Includes separate meals, shared accommodation with parents, and sightseeing tickets.

3. Children aged 9 and above: Charged at the full adult tour price.
