1. Historic Landmarks Deep Dive
Ride through the heart of the city as we pass Saigon’s icons — Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office, and the Independence Palace. Along the way, your guide will bring history to life with rare archival photos and untold stories. We’ll also pause at the exact spot where the famous Burning Monk protest took place, a defining moment that changed the course of Vietnam’s history.
2. “Spy House” Coffee & Secret Tunnel
Step back in time inside a hidden café once used as a VC weapons bunker. Over a cup of rich, authentic Vietnamese coffee, hear the fascinating story of this covert hideout. For the adventurous, you’ll even get the chance to crawl through the original tunnel entrance leading up to the café’s third floor.
3. Flower & Outdoor Markets + Local Bites
Next, immerse yourself in daily life as we stroll through a vibrant flower market, followed by a bustling open-air food market. Learn a few fun Vietnamese phrases to bargain like a local, then sample fresh tropical fruits and refreshing sugarcane juice. For your meal, choose between two beloved classics: Cơm Tấm (broken rice with BBQ pork) or a steaming bowl of local noodle soup.
4. Chinatown’s Temples & Lantern Streets
Discover Saigon’s multicultural roots in Chợ Lớn (Chinatown). Step inside one of the city’s oldest and most atmospheric temples, then ride through Silk Street, where shopfronts glow with shimmering fabrics. End with a stroll along Lantern Street, where the colorful displays create a year-round celebration of Lunar New Year spirit.
5. Tour Conclusion
We’ll ride back to District 1 and drop you off at your hotel. Or, if you’d prefer, we can leave you at a lively market or cozy café to continue exploring at your own pace.
