Less-Crowded Cu Chi Tunnels (Ben Duoc Site) Half-Day Tour



1. Pick-up from your accommodation and drive to Ben Duoc Tunnels, with a short stop at a handicraft workshop.

2. Watch a documentary film to understand the background of the Cu Chi war zone.

3. Explore underground living areas, including kitchens, hospitals, command centers, and weapons factories.

4. Discover hidden trap doors, booby traps, and learn about the homemade weapons used during the war.

5. Crawl through the tunnels for a real-life experience of wartime conditions (optional for those with claustrophobia).

We require a minimum of 5 adults to operate a group tour.

1. What time does the tour start?

We start in the morning or the afternoon, and the departure is from 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM. You can choose the time slot you like. 


 2. Where do we meet?

We offer free pick-up and drop-off at hotels in Districts 1, 3, and 4.
If you’re staying in other districts, we’ll meet at the Saigon Opera House, or we can provide hotel pickup for a small $7 USD extra fee.


3. How long is the tour?

The full experience lasts approximately 6 hours, including travel time (around 2 hours each way by car) and time spent at the Cu Chi site.


 4. What happens if it rains?

The tour runs rain or shine! We’ll provide rain ponchos, and most of the activities can still be enjoyed in light rain. In case of severe weather, we’ll contact you for options.


5. What’s included in the price?

  • Round-trip transportation by air-conditioned car
  • Entrance ticket to Cu Chi Tunnels
  • Hot tea and tapioca snack (as eaten by soldiers during the war)

6. Can I try shooting guns?

Yes, at the on-site shooting range, you can fire an AK-47, M16, or other rifles.
Note: This is optional and paid separately (2.5 USD per bullet).

We recommend wearing: comfortable clothes, walking shoes, or sneakers, and Bug spray and sunscreen (if you’re sensitive)


8. Can children join the tour?

Yes, kids are welcome! However, due to the narrow tunnels, children under 6 or those who feel claustrophobic may not want to crawl through.
